Adult educational centres require that all participants are over 15 years of age. The nature of the lessons and requests by participants though, results in the largest percentage being over 50 years of age.

5 - PROGRAM / SERVICE / ACTIVITY PURPOSES
The general aim of the Adult educational Centres is the general development of each adult’s personality as well as the social, financial and cultural development of citizens and society in general.
Based on the particpant’s level, computer sessions are designed to update adults with present era’s requirements. Through these sessions participants are able to learn as much as posible about computer technology and how it may be used beneficiarly for them. Computer games are used to train mental ability of the individuals as well as train their memory.

7 - METHODOLOGY USED (presentations, pair work, group work, peers, mentors, blended
learning, e-learning, etc.)
The methodology used in lessons is mainly based on presentations, guided and free practice and problem solving.
Participants mostly work individually on their own computer.

8 - PROGRAM / SERVICE / ACTIVITY SUMMARY DESCRIPTION
Computer lessons consist of three levels: Basic Level-Intermediate level and Advanced level.
Each participant works on his / her own computer in the class and follows teacher’s guidance. A short summary of previous material is made at the beginning of the class in order to give the chance to the participants to solve any questions they may have. Following, a presentation on new material is done by the teacher and all participants are asked to keep their personal notes so as to be able to practise later on. During the practical part, participants are forced to use their memory to remember what it has been previously demonstrated regarding a specific topic as well as their mental skills to cope with the program demonstrated. In case of any problems participants are free to make any questions they need to.
Computer games are included in teaching material as a mean of sharpening the mind and strengthening memory capacity.
