SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS:
This guide is aimed at older people having full autonomy and at those who are ageing with frailness. To that end, we offer proposals, exercises and guidelines for preparing a personal work-plan suited to the needs, wishes and expectations of each person, also their limitations and respecting possible contraindications. This document has been written by aiming at your needs and the difficulties that you face throughout the day. That is why it has been arranged at three levels of practice related to three different profiles of older people according to their potential physical condition: frail older people, active older people and very active older people.

5 - PROGRAM / SERVICE / ACTIVITY PURPOSES
General purpose: Work, through physical exercise, on cognitive functions such as memory, attention and spatial or time orientation. The exercises from this section will be used for confirming that those aspects cannot only be worked on in a sedentary way.

Individual. Starting position on their feet or on the floor:
Throw a dice and do eight times the exercise that matches up with the number shown.
+ Number 1: Throw the ball into the air, clap your hands once and catch it.
+ Number 2: Touch the ball with your foot, raising it slightly.
+ Number 3: Shift the ball from one hand to another over your head.
+ Number 4: Shift the ball from one hand to another behind your head.
+ Number 5: Shift the ball from one hand to another behind your hip
+ Number 6: Shift the ball from one hand to another under your leg, raising the leg slightly.

It is a series of guidelines –objectives, strategic axes, programs and measures– included in the PLAN A+D, PLAN INTEGRAL PARA LA ACTIVIDAD FÍSICA Y EL DEPORTE. (Comprehensive plan for physical activity and sports)
This Plan, within the area of older people, has developed a series of issues whose key goal is to promote active-life habits within this population group through the implementation of programs that meet the health requirements and interests of people over 65.
