The program includes sessions that are similar to a gym class together with psychological therapy, when the only thing one has to do is to laugh. The participants acquire important knowledge regarding laughter that is good for health, releases anxiety, reinforces the immune system, raises self-confidence, improves inter-personal communications, and improves a person's general feeling. The group process facilitates release and self-expression for each of the participants. They do warm-up exercises to raise their pulse, perform laughter exercises, and enjoy a deep, strong experience together – a shared experience that also shatters the communications barriers.

"There is little laughter in medicine – but there is much medicine in laughter". This is the main motto of the experiential course that emphasizes the importance of using laughter and humor as a lifestyle and as a means to self-healing. Yoga laughter belongs to the realm of preventive medicine, whose purpose is to strengthen the body, to improve feeling, and to fortify the emotional system in general. There is no doubt that the connection between body and soul intensifies particularly during enjoyable experiences, awakening, supporting and healing the body through Yoga laughter. After the sessions the participants feel freer, more relaxed and calmer – even with each other. The instructor relates to each participant at the individual level as well, unjudgmentally, and without criticizing what occurred, but directed towards the here and now.
